- the story is about a boy named Dre Parker moved to Beijing because his mother gets a job transfer. he was bullied by Cheng because Dre develops a crush on a young violinist, Mei Ying. because of that, Dre tried to learn about Kung Fu. finally, he found mr. Han. he promises to teach Dre "real" kung fu to fight in a kung fu tournament. he tried so hard. and on the tournament, his legs were injured because Liang, another of Li's students, who is instructed by Li to injure Dre's leg. Dre convinces mr. Han to mend his leg by used fire cupping in order to continue. Dre returns to the arena, facing Cheng. and his legs were injured for the 2nd time. but Dre didn't give up. and finally, he won.
